We are seeking a Senior Backup Storage Engineer with strong experience in enterprise backup, recovery, storage administration, and cloud-based backup solutions. The candidate will manage and support backup/storage systems, perform upgrades, troubleshooting, migrations, and ensure business continuity.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and manage Comm Vault Complete Data Protection.
- Create and maintain backup jobs for Linux/UNIX/Windows, NAS (NDMP), and databases (Oracle, SQL, DB2, PostgreSQL).
- Perform backup restores, recovery, and troubleshooting.
- Manage storage provisioning including zoning, masking, and LUN provisioning.
- Support and administer storage platforms: Dell/EMC, IBM, Net App, Pure Storage.
- Handle VMware backup/recovery using VADP.
- Support cloud backup/storage across AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud.
- Perform storage migrations, upgrades, and health monitoring.
- Automate tasks using Power Shell/Python.
- 3 years experience as Backup Administrator (Comm Vault or similar).
- 3 years experience with enterprise storage arrays (Dell/EMC, IBM, Net App, Pure).
- 2 years experience with cloud backup/storage solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
