Security Engineers will possess knowledge and experience in safeguarding sensitive data from cyber-attacks.

For this engineer the focus is on Firewall engineering and operations with primary experience in Cisco FWs.

Daily tasks include - configures, manages, maintains, and troubleshoots Cisco ASA and Fire Power firewalls with experience in ACLs, S2S VPNs, BGP, IPSec, routing, optimizing/tuning, troubleshooting, etc. in multi-context mode using both the Firewall Management Console (FMC) and Command Line Interface (CLI). Also configures, manages, maintains, and troubleshoots Cisco Fire Power Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPSs). Works with the Datacenter Engineers and Security teams to add routes, troubleshoot complex networking issues, make recommendations on configurations, etc.

Required Skills:

Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience with developing and implementing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.

Cisco ASA Firewalls in multi-context mode experience

Cisco Fire Power Firewalls experience

Palo Alto Firewalls experience

Cisco Firewall Management Console (FMC) experience

Cisco Command Line Interface (CLI) experience

Cisco ACL experience

Cisco Site-to-Site (S2S) Virtual Private Networking (VPN) experience

Strong troubleshooting experience

Double network address translations (Double NAT) experience

Network switching and routing experience

Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field
