Pay Range: $85 - $90 per hour on W2
Location: Downey, CA 90242 (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 months
We are seeking an experienced z/OS Network Systems Programmer with strong expertise in z/OS networking, systems programming, and mainframe hardware management.
KeyResponsibilities & Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the last 8 years working with z/OS Networking.
- Hands-on experience with HCD (Hardware Configuration Definition) and IODF (I/O Definition File).
- Experience with z/OSMF, SMP/E, and LU 6.2.
- Strong knowledge of IBM z/OS mainframe hardware and infrastructure.
- At least 5 years of experience managing DS8884 and TS7760C hardware.
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support complex mainframe networking and hardware environments.
- Assist with data center migrations, cabling activities, hardware upgrades, and related infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- This is a strictly on-site position; remote or hybrid work is not available.
- The position requires approximately 10% travel to data centers located in El Segundo and Anaheim, California.
- Candidates must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license and reliable access to a personal vehicle for travel between locations.
- Travel, mileage, and gas expenses will not be reimbursed.
