Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead Environmental, Health & Safety programs for a large-scale, high-speed manufacturing facility.
  • Provide EHS subject matter expertise and highly influential leadership across the operation.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and improve Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Manage and support ISO 18001 and ISO 14001 programs and audits.
  • Conduct and oversee workplace risk assessments in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide environmental and regulatory guidance to facility leadership and operations.
  • Support safety programs involving large-scale manufacturing electrical systems.
  • Oversee and maintain knowledge of DOT safety requirements.
  • Support and/or manage Workers' Compensation activities.
  • Partner directly with employees and operational teams on the manufacturing floor to identify hazards and drive corrective actions.
  • Build strong working relationships with production, maintenance, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Communicate EHS matters, findings, risks, and recommendations to upper-level leadership.
  • Prepare and deliver clear verbal and written presentations to senior leadership.
  • Work alongside the retiring incumbent to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
Qualifications Needed:
  • Bachelor's degree or other relevant education/credentials in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; specific education requirement was not provided in the supplied materials.
