A hospital in Downey, CA is looking to hire Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to provide additional coverage. Providers will mainly operate independently, supervision is optional.

• Active California CRNA License
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Active DEA license
• Board Certification required
• Proficiency in EPIC
• COVID vaccine and one booster required
• 1 year CRNA experience within the last 3 years required

• Conduct patient assessments prior to anesthesia treatment.
• Educate patients and their families about the anesthesia process and recovery.
• Prepare and administer anesthesia medication via injection, inhalation, or oral medication.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during surgery.
• Oversee patients' safety as they recover from anesthesia.
• Maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
• Document patient care in medical records.
• Keep up-to-date on the latest anesthesia practices and procedure.
