Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) – Locum Tenens Support (

Start Date:

ASAP, Availability: Day, 10; Weekend, On Call). Pay Rate: $106.70 – $115.50.

This facility is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday, 4–10 hour shifts per week (every other weekend). Possibility of occasional beeper calls for urgent cases.
• Practice Setting:
  Inpatient and outpatient.
• Type of cases:
  Spine orthopedic surgery cases.
• Credentialing timeframe: up to 90 days.
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC (Health Connect – Kaiser Permanente’s version of EPIC).
• Certifications required:
  Board Certified, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Nurse Practitioner must also hold First Assist Certification.
• Licensure:
  Must have an active California State license.
