Role Overview
Provides anesthesia care under medical supervision for diverse surgical and obstetrical procedures across all age groups, including neonatal to geriatric patients. Responsibilities include airway management, fluid and homeostasis maintenance, monitoring, emergency response, and ventilator management.

Responsibilities include airway management, fluid and homeostasis maintenance, monitoring, emergency response, and ventilator management.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients pre-operatively and select appropriate anesthesia.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia during procedures, ensuring patient stability.
- Assess post-operative patient conditions and respond accordingly.
- Check and prepare anesthesia equipment and drugs, maintaining safety standards.
- Communicate with surgical team regarding patient concerns.
- Supervise student nurse anesthetists and maintain accurate records of controlled substances.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, laws, and standards.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and foster respectful interactions with patients and staff.
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
- Licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and Registered Nurse in California.
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS, with NPI registration.
- Experience with major procedures involving extensive monitoring and fluid management for all age groups.
- Strong technical, clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional skill within California scope of practice.
- Ability to handle complex cases and contribute to staff development.
