Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week assignment at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, CA. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to medical-surgical patients in a specialized rehabilitation environment, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessments, and treatment plans for Med Surg patients on 12-hour night shifts.
- Administer medications, perform clinical treatments, and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to support patient recovery and safety goals.
- Maintain compliance with facility standards, safety policies, and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensure:
Active California RN License (BSN preferred). - Certifications:
Current BLS, ACLS, MAB, and LA Fire Safety certifications required. - Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience (Trauma Level I, Magnet, or Teaching Facility experience preferred). - Health Requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination (or valid exemption).

Must explain any employment gaps > 30 days and include city/state for each employer. If shifts overlapped, note weekly shift count for each location.
Specific to Med Surg.
Copies of ACLS, BLS, MAB, and LA Fire Safety certifications.
Two supervisory or managerial references from within the past 2 years.
