Pay Rate: $155-160/hr
A medical center in Downey, California is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) to cover a vacancy. The provider will be doing complex orthopedic spine surgeries, including spinal fusions, decompress ions, deformity corrections, trauma, and revision procedures.

- Board certification required
- BLS, ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in EPIC preferred
- First assist in complex orthopedic spine surgeries, including spinal fusions, decompress ions, deformity corrections, trauma, and revision procedures.
- Assist with exposure, retraction, hemostasis, instrumentation placement, and wound closure.
- Review patient history, imaging, and surgical plans; ensure necessary equipment and implants are available.
- Support fluoroscopic, navigation, and robotic-guided procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety standards.
- Apply dressings, assist with postoperative documentation, and communicate patient status during handoff to recovery and inpatient teams.
