About This Role

The Staff RN in Med Surg Oncology provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for those who are flexible and committed to delivering quality patient care.

• Pay: $67 - $92/hour
• Location: Downey, CA
• Facility: Kaiser Permanente
• Schedule: Per Diem, Nights

• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
• Serve as a leader of the health care team; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Understand own and team members' scope of practice and

• Develop and/or contribute to the individualized plan of care.
• Monitor the patient's progress based on the care plan.
• Revise care plans based on patient condition and evaluation of progress.
• Ensure effective development and completion of discharge plans.
• Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
• Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and other team members.
• Practice customer service standards as defined by the organization.
