- Minimum of (5) years of prior peace officer experience from a Federal, state, county, or local law enforcement agency AND completion of Peace officer Standards and Training (POST) academy, OR completion of a Federal state, county, or local law enforcement training academy with a verifiable certificate or transcript.
- Valid California State Guard card.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Baton certification.
- Demonstrate ability to read, write and converse clearly in English.
- Satisfactory completion of initial drug test and criminal background check.
