Job Description
Downey Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning is looking for a full time Plumbing Technician with experience running service & repair for both residential and light commercial clients. The company serves the South Bay, south LA and north Orange counties. Technicians thrive in an environment that rewards hustle, efficiency and time management skills, and enjoy a variety of types of plumbing trade work as part of a great team.
- Run service for residential & light commercial clients in company provided service vehicles, delivering excellent customer service from beginning to end of each job.
- Rotate on call shifts approximately every 5‑7 weeks.
- Manage work orders, dispatching, invoicing and internal communication using paperless processes and a company provided cell phone.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Service & Repair Plumbing.
- Clean driving record for the last 3 consecutive years (5 for DUI & texting violations).
- Ability to troubleshoot and clear/repair/install water, sewer & gas service lines, stoppages, water heaters, plumbing fixtures & equipment.
- Good problem‑solving, critical thinking, communication and multi‑tasking skills.
- Must be able to easily use a smartphone.

Job Type
Full Time including periodic on‑call shift
Pay
$65,000 – $90,000 per year depending on experience & production. Commission income, referral bonuses, promotions.
