Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs, Inc. (SCADP) was established in 1972 in a grassroots effort by community members seeking alternatives to prison for individuals with substance use disorder (SUD). SCADP is now a 501(c)(3) non‑profit organization providing residential treatment services and outpatient counseling services to individuals throughout Los Angeles, as well as housing and supportive services for survivors of domestic violence.

SCADP now offers services with a continuum of care to underserved and disadvantaged populations throughout the Los Angeles area.

PAY RATE

$28.82 - $30.33 Per Hour

JOB SUMMARY

The Program Supervisor I provides experience‑based competencies and administrative assistance to fulfill the goals and objectives of the Program, executing plans and operations according to contract and budget guidelines. This includes leveraging resources and coordinating the efforts of community partners, and conducting ongoing outreach to serve participants and leverage VOALA and community assets. This is a hands‑on position performing administrative duties in support of the program, and direct service to clients.

DUTIES

AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Achieve grant objectives by providing expertise, and monitoring service delivery, while reporting to the Funder and the Program Manager, highlighting progress in reaching goals, administers client assistance funds;
  • Performs and coordinates day‑to‑day operations of program service providers, overseeing intake, creation of service plans and delivery of services to clients;
  • Conducts weekly case conferencing with referral agencies, and monthly case‑file audits to assure participant records are complete and accurate;
  • Monitor program compliance to SCADP policies and required procedures, maintains documentation of all program procedures;
  • Assist Program Manager with implementing policies, procedures and forms that facilitate the effective operation of delivery of high‑quality services to clients;
  • Coordinate outreach and collaboration efforts with community partners, and stakeholders;
  • Other duties as assigned;
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Services for this position must be provided on‑site. As a result, the positions supervised by this job description are on‑site, and supervisors/ managers/ leaders must be on site to provide proper direction and oversight.
  • PROGRAM OPERATIONS:
    Responsible for day‑to‑day program efforts, providing guidance and supervision for staff, budget oversight, project timelines, and anticipated outcomes; effectively plans workload of subordinate individuals and programs; budgets, deploys, and organizes resources.
  • RECORD AND TRACK SERVICES:
    Keep and maintain appropriate records of all services provided to clients, in both hard (paper) and soft (electronic) files, ensuring records are accurate and matching; report regularly to director on progress of project timelines.
  • COORDINATION OF SERVICES:
    Collaborates with other service providers to link various programs to community resources and supportive services.
  • FUNDER FOCUS:
    Keep comprehensive records of compliance with Funder and regulatory requirements.
  • TRAINING AND MENTORING:
    Responsible for team’s development through training, policy and procedure, structured supervision, and learning collaboratives.
  • CHANGE LEADERSHIP:
    Identifies better, faster, more efficient ways to achieve the program goals and objectives.
  • Community outreach.
  • Other duties as required and may be subject to change.
