Jebran & Abraham, PC is seeking a Tax Associate who is eager to develop their technical skills, gain exposure to a diverse client base, and grow alongside an experienced team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience, mentorship, and increasing responsibility while working in a supportive firm environment.
What You'll Do- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and small to medium-sized businesses
- Prepare individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns
- Assist with tax planning and research projects
- Review client financial information and identify missing or inconsistent data
- Communicate with clients to obtain documentation and resolve routine tax questions
- Assist senior team members with more complex tax engagements
- Maintain organized and accurate work papers and client files
- Stay current on changes to federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet client deadlines and provide exceptional service
- Participate in firm training and professional development opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Approximately 1-3+ years of tax or public accounting experience preferred
- Experience preparing individual and small to medium-sized business tax returns
- Working toward a CPA or EA designation, or already credentialed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine desire to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility
