Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to join their team. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting functions, and assisting with reporting and accounts receivable activities.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Establish and maintain a well-organized accounting system, including chart of accounts and bookkeeping procedures

+ Verify, allocate, and post financial transactions

+ Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records

+ Maintain and balance the general ledger

+ Organize and maintain historical financial documentation

+ Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

+ Generate Accounts Receivable invoices, monitor incoming payments, and record deposits

+ Assist with other accounting and bookkeeping functions as needed

Requirements

Ideal Background:

+ Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related finance role

+ Strong understanding of general ledger maintenance and reconciliations

+ Accounts Receivable experience preferred

+ Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
