We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to play a key role in supporting the Superintendent and Project Manager throughout all stages of construction. This position helps manage field operations, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules and quality standards. The Assistant Superintendent works closely with project teams, design professionals, and subcontractors to maintain strong communication, resolve field issues, and ensure successful project delivery.

Occasional travel may be required, and this role reports directly to the Project Superintendent.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote and enforce company safety policies and quality standards across all project activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing site-specific emergency action and safety plans.
• Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with clients, consultants, and external partners.
• Help establish and manage field logistics, job site setup, and project schedules.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
• Maintain up-to-date records including RFIs, ASIs, submittals, and as-built documentation.
• Attend company meetings, training sessions, and industry-related events as required.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, inspections, and third-party testing agencies.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, field teams, and subcontractors to coordinate work efforts and maintain progress toward project goals.
• Perform daily job site walks and document observations, safety audits, and progress updates.
• Lead or participate in foreman, safety, pre-task, and project coordination meetings.
• Monitor Client performance, productivity, and adherence to project timelines.
• Support the Superintendent in overseeing day-to-day job site operations from pre-construction through closeout.
• Effectively use scheduling and project management software to track progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the successful delivery of projects.

• Minimum of four years of experience in a Foreman or similar construction field leadership role.
• Degree in Construction Management or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field safety, building systems, and scheduling principles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with project management and scheduling tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite.
