Resource Teacher (Part-Time & Full-Time)

The Goddard School® located in Doylestown on Farm Lane is seeking motivated and caring Resource Teachers for both part-time and full-time positions. At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first. You'll work alongside our classroom teachers and faculty to establish safe, nurturing learning environments for children ages 3 months to 6 years. As a Resource Teacher you'll receive hands-on support from our faculty and school leadership every step of the way as you build and develop your teaching skills. Resource Teacher Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
• Support each child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
• Build positive and effective relationships with families
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and faculty across all age groups, from Infants through Kindergarten
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Support routine childcare tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment

• 9:00am – 6:00pm
• 1:00pm – 6:00pm
• 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Qualifications

• Shows empathy and compassion for young children
• Dependable, adaptable and enjoys working as part of a team toward a common goal
• Must be willing to work in all age groups from Infants through Kindergarten
• Previous experience working with young children preferred but not required
• High school diploma required; college enrollment or degree in Early Childhood Education a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children, including properly lifting infants into and out of a crib

As part of a larger franchise system, in operation for 35 years, we are the premiere spot for early childhood learning for children from six weeks to six years old.
