- Design fluid conveyance systems including pumps, piping networks, and lift stations
- Assist with groundwater remediation system design
- Perform engineering calculations including pipe flow capacity, pump sizing, and blower sizing for treatment processes
- Produce engineering drawings using AutoCAD (primarily 2D)
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams across multiple offices
- Assist with project-related tasks such as cost estimating, equipment selection, and vendor coordination
- Support technical documentation and design development through various project phases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification required; PE license preferred
- Approximately 4-8 years of engineering design experience
- Strong AutoCAD skills with the ability to produce technical engineering drawings
- Experience with pumps, piping systems, and treatment system components
- Knowledge of fluid mechanics and mechanical system design principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a technical design environment
