Commercial Loan Officer Team Leader

Peoples Security Bank & Trust Company is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer Team Leader to guide a team of lenders and grow a high-quality commercial portfolio. In this leadership role, you will develop and manage relationships with businesses and municipalities, structure and underwrite complex commercial credits, and oversee the loan pipeline from origination through closing. You will monitor portfolio performance, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance while modeling our relationship-driven, community-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of commercial loan officers to achieve portfolio growth and credit quality goals
• Develop, manage, and expand commercial lending relationships with local businesses and municipalities
• Underwrite and structure complex commercial credit requests in line with bank policies and risk standards
• Oversee loan pipeline, approvals, and closing processes to ensure timely, accurate execution
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify risk trends, and implement mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with credit, treasury, and retail teams to deliver integrated banking solutions
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements
• Represent the bank in the community through networking, business development, and civic involvement
