Bakery Associate Part-Time

Position: Bakery Associate Part-Time Open availability
Job Summary - Bakery Associate

• Maintain presentable and adequately filled shelves and display cases.

• Wrap, package and price all products accurately and legibly.

• Fill customer orders as requested, provided exceptional customer service.

• Remove products from freezer when instructed.

• Set up and put out bakery items for use by baker.

• Rotate products and remove out-of-code items.

• Maintain knowledge of all products sold within the department.

• Maintain a regular cleaning and sanitation program.

• Refer unusual or difficult customer problems to a manager for prompt attention.

• Perform other duties as directed or required by supervisor.

Must have open availability

Physical Demands:

• Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty.

• Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time.

• Work safely around ovens.


• Lift, push, and/or pull bakery ingredients/items up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to wear company-provided uniform, and maintain a clean and groomed appearance.

Skills Requirements:

• Friendly personality and "customer service" mentality.

• Good mathematic skills to operate scales & computers and to coordinate dates for inventory rotation.

• Good verbal and written communications skills.
