POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Engineer, operates and maintains all hydronic piping systems, electrical/ electronic devices, hvac and climate control, domestic water and sanitary systems, and preventative maintenance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operates and repairs hot water boilers.
• Operates and repairs refrigeration and chiller equipment.
• Operates and repairs emergency generators.
• Operates and repairs air handlers and climate control equipment.
• Operates and repairs electrical, water and sanitary distribution system.
• Operates and repairs auxiliary equipment.
• Monitors, records and regulate equipment parameters as necessary as provided by data from various recording and indicting instruments.
• Any other duties as assigned relating to the position.
• 24 hour/day, 7day/week position.
• Must be able to work under a supervising Engineer for training and project completion.
• Possess ability to carry out assigned projects.
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and valve charts.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school certification in plumbing, electric, and mechanical trades and two years trade experience in electrical, plumbing, boilers and chillers maintaining and operating commercial building systems.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Web browser applications
