Position: Customer Service Representative

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Shift: Day

Hourly Salary: $16.50 per hour

• Main lobby operations – check‑ins, check‑outs, guest visits and tours, answering general questions
• Answering and handling calls in a professional manner
• Maintaining cleanliness of the facility
• Scheduling
• File maintenance
• Data entry

• Welcomes both human and pet guests
• Can correctly identify animal body language/behavior
• Follows safe handling procedures
• Checking in and out of pet guests while providing excellent customer service
• Escorts pets to and from their rooms
• Takes reservations over the phone
• Works both individually and as a team player while performing duties
• Contributes to maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
• Communicates with management and other team members

• Love of animals
• Displays a professional manner at all times
• Ability to work evenings, weekends & holidays
• Lift/carry 40 pounds or more
• Able to stand/walk for eight hours a day
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Able to work on a computer system
• Able to handle dogs on leashes and work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions

High School Graduate or Equivalent

At least 1 year of professional animal experience

In accordance with Massachusetts pay transparency requirements, the compensation range for this position is $16.50 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and other business‑related factors. This position may also be eligible for commissions, bonuses, incentives, and additional benefits where applicable.
