Digital Literacy Teacher FTE

Starting Date: Sep 1, 2026

The Greenmont Avenue Elementary School is seeking a part‑time (.6 FTE) Digital Literacy Teacher for the  school year. This position is benefits eligible.

• Teach digital literacy skills in support of integration of technology into students' learning.
• Develop lesson plans and supplementary materials, adapting curriculum to meet student needs.
• Maintain and advance knowledge of digital learning resources and educational technologies.
• Instruct students in subject matter specified in the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
• Plan a technology education program involving demonstrations, discussions, and student experiments.
• Teach proper use, care and safe handling of equipment.
• Evaluate academic and social growth of students, prepare report cards and keep records (attendance, checklists).
• Manage class operations by creating a positive environment and delivering instruction effectively.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress.
• Supervise students in assigned out-of‑classroom activities during the day.
• Model ethical behavior, skills proficiency and responsible use of online and educational technology resources.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Principal.

• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Digital Literacy.
• SEI endorsement.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter and trends in a digital environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students.
• Ability to work positively and collaboratively on a team.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
