Brookside Elementary School is seeking a dedicated Special Education Preschool Teacher to lead our Intensive Special Education Preschool classroom. We are seeking a professional with a passion for fostering a love of learning in our youngest students through a supportive and engaging classroom environment.

• Expertise in child development and early childhood curriculum.
• Understanding of disabilities that affect communication, motor skills, social skills, and behavior.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
• Experience managing the special education process, including evaluations and IEP development.

Brookside Elementary School serves preschool through fifth grade students. Most grade levels have 3-4 classrooms depending on class sizes. We also house the RISE program, which serves students who are developing independent life skills. Our enrollment for the 2021-22 school year is approximately 490 students.
