Job Summary

The Social Media & Marketing Specialist will build and manage our digital presence, representing Lazy River Products and PETiva product lines. They will establish daily presence on Instagram and Facebook, with plans to expand to other platforms.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Brand Representation – Shoot, edit, and publish high‑quality organic content for Instagram and Facebook, acting as a confident on‑camera personality.

Influencer & Partnership Management – Source and manage relationships with creators, celebrities, and cannabis influencers, leading outreach and pitch meetings.

Collaborative Campaigns – Serve as primary marketing contact for vendor partners and other brands for cross‑promotional campaigns.

Data Analysis – Track monthly performance metrics to identify trends, translate data into actionable insights, and recommend next steps.

Marketing Support – Design digital and physical marketing assets for retail, input promotional data into email marketing calendar, and develop social content for promotions.

Compliance & Consistency – Maintain engaging brand voice while strictly adhering to Massachusetts cannabis advertising regulations and platform policies.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Experience:

2‑4 years of cannabis social media/marketing experience and/or a strong portfolio demonstrating successful content creation and audience building. Experience managing social media within a regulated industry is a major plus; previous Massachusetts cannabis industry experience preferred.
Skills:

Videography and photography skills; on‑camera comfort; proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar; strong writing and copywriting; partnership sourcing and management; data‑driven mindset; strong organizational and leadership skills; strong communication skills;
Microsoft Office proficiency; commitment to continuous learning.
Physical:
Office work environment; prolonged sitting/standing; ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Additional requirements:

Valid driver’s license, transportation, flexible for evening/weekend events; must be 21 years or older and meet legal/compliance requirements.

Mandatory Mandates

This is not a remote or hybrid position and requires 100% on‑site availability.

Mandatory Background Check

Background check is required prior to employment, after offer letter and signed Background Check Authorization Form.
It includes Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check.
Advanced degrees and professional licenses may have credentials verified.
