Store Manager in Training

O'Reilly Automotive is seeking a Store Manager in Training to learn all aspects of retail store operations in a fast-paced automotive parts environment. Under the guidance of experienced leaders, you will learn to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, manage inventory, and support team members. You will assist with scheduling, merchandising, cash handling, and safety and loss prevention standards. This role offers hands-on training, clear advancement paths to Store Manager and beyond, and the opportunity to build strong leadership and automotive product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations including opening, closing, and cash handling.
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service to DIY and professional customers.
• Learn and apply inventory control, stocking, and merchandising standards.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and coaching team members.
• Monitor sales metrics and support initiatives to meet performance goals.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized store environment.
• Follow company policies for security and loss prevention.
• Develop product and automotive parts knowledge to support customers.
• Collaborate with leadership to execute promotions and sales plans.
• Complete structured training to progress toward Store Manager role.
