The Service Valet/Porter is the initial contact at the dealership for arriving service customers. Responsibilities include greeting and checking them in, and moving vehicles from the service drive to the shop.
Responsibilities- Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain vehicle information at check‑in.
- Assist the Service Advisor while maintaining organization in the service drive.
- Move customers’ vehicles safely and securely following the greeting process as outlined by management.
- Retain keys according to departmental safeguard procedures.
- Promote effective working relationships with associates and departments.
- Follow dealership procedures for active vehicle delivery to achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Assist fellow dealership personnel to ensure full functioning of the dealership.
- Work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to operate manual transmission is highly preferred.
- Minimum eighteen years of age.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug test).
