What does an Associate Category Commercial Analyst do at Swire Coca Cola?We are looking for an Associate Category Commercial Analyst, to help lead our marketing and commercialization efforts on some of the most global iconic brands. You will play a critical role in leading and managing a specific product category within our organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive revenue, market share, and profitability. This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, market analysis, and leadership skills to do your part in delivering the organization’s goals.
The role is based at Swire Coca-Cola headquarters in Draper, Utah. You’ll work on-site with a talented team, giving you direct access to resources and real-time collaboration.
Responsibilities- Drive Category Strategy:
Develop and execute category strategies aligned with company goals to drive market share, revenue growth, and profitability. Use data and analytics to track performance and identify opportunities for innovation and expansion - Drive Sales and Marketing:
Drive category growth by applying a consumer-first mindset by leveraging sales and marketing expertise. Partner with brands to develop strategies informed by consumer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis. Execute campaigns that resonate with consumers and deliver measurable results - Manage Product Portfolio:
Manage the product portfolio, including product selection and lifecycle management. Support innovation launches and identify new opportunities - Analyze Market Trends:
Use data-driven insights to strengthen Swire’s position. Conduct competitor, customer, and industry analysis to uncover opportunities and address challenges within the category - Lead Cross-Functional Teams:
Inspire and guide team members to achieve Commercial priorities in both the short- and long-term objectives - Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field required
- 2+ years in marketing or strategy development
- 1+ years driving cross-functional teamwork and project management required
- Have a general-manager mindset with strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities as well as tactical execution
- Proven experience in brand/category management in beverage or consumer product goods industry preferred
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding performance targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrable experience influencing without authority
- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of relevant software tools (Microsoft Suite, PowerBI, Nielsen, syndicated research tools).
