Overview
Savory Fund is looking for a Construction & Development Project Coordinator to support the successful planning and execution of new restaurant builds and remodels across our growing portfolio of brands. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, highly organized construction professional who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep projects moving — coordinating teams, managing documentation, and supporting construction leaders in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
You’ll partner closely with Construction Managers and cross-functional teams and play a key role in ensuring projects stay organized, compliant, and on track.
- Support Construction Managers with the coordination and execution of restaurant construction and remodel projects
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, schedules, and logs
- Assist with contractor bidding, selection, contract negotiation, and performance tracking
- Review and process change orders, invoices, purchase orders, and payment applications
- Coordinate permitting, inspections, and approvals with local jurisdictions and health departments
- Track project schedules, milestones, vendor lead times, and key deliverables
- Prepare meeting agendas, document notes, and follow up on action items
- Communicate project updates and deadlines between internal teams, contractors, and vendors
- Support job site activities and assist with project close-out documentation (warranties, as-builts, turnover packages)
- Identify potential risks or delays and escalate issues proactively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at once
- Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working with field teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Tech-savvy and confident using project management tools and dashboards
- Willingness to travel occasionally and provide after-hours support as needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable attendance
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field)
- 2–5 years of experience in construction coordination, project administration, or a related role
- Commercial construction experience preferred, especially in restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction or project management software
