At FASTSIGNS we rely on clean lines in logos and use business spaces as inspiration. We seek a skilled graphic designer and production specialist who respects brand standards, takes pride in craftsmanship, and possesses signage expertise to bridge digital design and physical fabrication.
As a key member of our growing team, you will split your time between the design computer and the production floor—gaining full creative ownership of projects from concept to final completion.
What You’ll Do In the Design & Prep Room (Pre-Press)- Design & Pre-Flight: Create impactful, computer-generated full-color graphics tailored specifically for wide‑format output.

- Finishing & Equipment Operation: Set up and operate wide‑format laminators for encapsulation, over‑laminating, and mounting.
- Quality Assurance: Proofread all signs and conduct strict QA to ensure final products match proofs perfectly before delivery or installation.
- Sign Industry
Experience:
Proven experience in a sign shop environment handling both digital design and physical sign assembly/production. - Technical Design
Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with sign‑specific RIP software (e.g., Onyx, Flexi). - Production Know‑How: Strong hands‑on experience with weeding, taping, mounting, using a laminator, and handling diverse sign substrates.
- The Right Mindset: An independent worker who thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, but values collaboration and team success.
This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of our center. Because this is a dual‑role position, you won’t just be stuck behind a screen or at a cutting table—you get the best of both worlds. As our center grows, this role offers natural leadership potential to help shape and eventually divide our design and production departments.
