Role Description

The Interior Designer role at Bach Homes, LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Draper, UT. The Interior Designer will plan and design interior spaces for single-family homes and multifamily properties, collaborating closely with architecture, construction, and sales teams. Daily responsibilities include developing design concepts, selecting finishes and materials, preparing design boards, and coordinating FF&E packages that align with project budgets and brand standards.

The role involves producing and reviewing interior-related construction drawings, ensuring designs are accurate, buildable, and compliant with project specifications. The Interior Designer will also conduct site visits, oversee installation details, and communicate with vendors and trades to maintain quality, schedule, and consistency across projects.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Interior Design, including concept development, material and finish selection, and design documentation.
  • Strong Space Planning skills to create functional, efficient layouts for residential and multifamily environments.
  • Experience collaborating with Architecture teams and understanding how interior design integrates with building plans.
  • Ability to read, create, and coordinate Construction Drawings relevant to interior finishes and details.
  • Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection and specification, including coordination with vendors and budgets.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in residential construction or homebuilding environments is preferred; familiarity with building codes and construction processes is beneficial.
