Lead Clinical Faculty
Full‑time nursing education leadership role overseeing clinical teaching and faculty across the Missouri and South Dakota region.

Clinical sites within assigned state/region.
Residency Requirement
:
Must live and hold an RN license in Missouri or South Dakota.
Lead clinical education, mentor faculty, and provide operational oversight to ensure high‑quality learning experiences for nursing students.
Reporting to the Regional Assistant Dean of Nursing, you will supervise several part‑time clinical faculty, act as a visible leader, and partner with healthcare organizations to advance student success and program quality.
Your Impact- Lead high‑quality clinical learning experiences across all program semesters.
- Teach and model best practices in assessment, clinical judgment, skills, medication administration, and student evaluation.
- Maintain clinical teaching competencies and lead by example in the clinical setting.
- Supervise, mentor, and support a diverse team of part‑time clinical faculty.
- Lead onboarding, coaching, performance evaluation, and professional growth.
- Conduct clinical reviews and create individualized annual development plans.
- Partner in hiring and faculty placement decisions each term.
- Support student progression and address academic or behavioral concerns with care and accountability.
- Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and evaluations.
- Adapt instructional approaches to meet diverse learner needs.
- Build lasting relationships with clinical sites.
- Collaborate with academic leadership to secure, schedule, and optimize clinical placements.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and state and national regulatory requirements.
- Monitor clinical quality and continuously elevate the student and faculty experience.
- Contribute to curriculum integrity and continuous program improvement.
- Support accreditation, data reporting, and academic initiatives.
- Participate in faculty development, leadership meetings, and university‑wide efforts.

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- 5+ years of nursing clinical experience
- 2–3 years of teaching experience (academic or clinical)
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Doctorate in Nursing or related field
