As an AEC Segment Manager, focused on the Engineering segment, you will be the domain expert for all things design collaboration within engineering firms. You will help to refine the GTM strategy, positioning, messaging, and value prop as it pertains to IT and design technology teams within civil, environmental and multi-disciplinary engineering firms. As a result, you will help drive scaled customer growth and revenue for this segment while working alongside other AEC Practice Segment Leaders.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Enablement and Product Marketing to refine sales enablement programs related to Egnyte’s position within the Engineering ecosystem as relevant for Engineering firms
- Collaborate with Product on use case definition and refinement of the product needs to better address engineering workflows
- Partner with Sales to identify and support key deals and/or visit key customers or prospects
- Partner with Marketing to advance Egnyte’s AEC brand, including thought-leadership activities, webinar, presentations and representing Egnyte at industry conferences
- Collaborate with Industry Engagement in support of industry associations including ACEC, SAME, ASCE, IHEEP and other Engineering forums
- Provide subject matter expertise, analysis and validation on various AEC software products used by Engineering firms
- Minimum 3 years in a Design Technology role as a Practitioner and/or as a solution consultant working with Design firms (Engineering and/or Architecture)
- Practical experience with industry design applications such as Bentley Open Roads, Autodesk Civil 3D, ESRI ArcGIS, HEC-RAS as well as collaborative file systems like Bentley Project Wise, Newforma and Autodesk Docs
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in a matrix organization with stakeholders across different departments, managerial levels and geographies
- Experience in facilitating customer workshops, panel talks and other external facing capacities
- Preferred experience as past presenter at industry events like Autodesk University, ACEC, IHEEP, or other forums
- Travel 3-5x per quarter within the continental US, with occasional travel overseas as business needs evolve
- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $135k - $185k annually. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience.
