Schedule: Monday – Friday
Responsibilities- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations.
- Work closely with suppliers regarding quality and specifications.
- Provide engineering support for the introduction of new products into manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth transition from product development to full‑scale production.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new products, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Utilize data analysis and process monitoring tools to identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable solutions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering and/of quality engineering with the medical device industry, particularly in orthopedic.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, casting, forging, and assembly.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to medical device manufacturing (e.g., ISO).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- 5 years in a related medical device field.
- Relevant manufacturing processes experience.
- Design engineering tools such as CAD and Pro-Engineer.
- Visualization and implementation of projects from inception to completion.
- Understanding of basic human anatomy.
- Microbiology experience (preferred).
