Credit Collections Specialist - Draper , UT

Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Credit & Collections Specialist to support our credit department by performing a wide range of credit, collections, and customer service functions. This role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external customers.

• Process and solicit customer credit applications, including investigations and follow‑up inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date credit and customer account files.
• Make collection calls and follow established collection procedures.
• File liens when required, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Provide professional customer service over the phone and in person.
• Process credit adjustments and ensure all required paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Support the credit department with additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of business collections experience preferred.
• Experience in a related accounting, finance, or credit role is a plus.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend business correspondence and instructions.
• Ability to present information clearly in one‑on‑one or small‑group settings.
• Solid math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Strong reasoning skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Computer proficiency, including accurate keyboarding and basic database software knowledge.
