We are seeking motivated individuals to assist clients with both personal and business banking solutions that improve their financial health and help them reach their goals. Responsibilities- Build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions.
- Open new accounts, onboard new relationships, originate loans and lines, refer to partners to help meet additional needs.
- Make out-of-office business development calls to businesses, community organizations, and referral sources.
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations.
- Reflect the core values and ethics of WaFd Bank, including integrity, teamwork, ownership, simplicity, discipline, and service. In addition, they must be kind.
Education/Skills/Training:
- High school diploma or approved equivalent.
- Good math skills, 10-key and keyboarding.
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, Power
BI and Outlook. - Well-developed smart phone and digital channel skills.
- Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate how to use automated technology to teach clients self-service skills.
- Must have valid driver's license, satisfactory transportation, and adequate insurance coverage.
Experience:
- Prior banking experience, including familiarity with lending, previous work in retail, consumer service delivery, or client relation.
