Mental Health Therapist – Residential Services | Corner Canyon Health Centers | Draper, Utah

Who We Are

At Corner Canyon Health Centers, we believe that healing happens in relationship — with skilled clinicians, with community, and with self. We're a trauma-informed behavioral health organization offering Residential (RTC), Day Treatment, and Intensive Outpatient programs, and we're deeply committed to clinical work that truly changes lives.

Our team is collaborative, mission-driven, and grounded in evidence-based practice. If you're a therapist who wants to do meaningful work alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love to meet you.

The Role

We're looking for a passionate, skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our clinical team and work with clients navigating a wide range of mental health challenges. This is a role for someone who thrives in a structured, high-touch clinical environment — and who finds deep purpose in showing up fully for people in some of the hardest seasons of their lives.

You'll carry a caseload across individual, group, and family modalities, collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, and have real input into the care your clients receive.

What You'll Do
  • Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and needs
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, trauma-focused modalities, and others)
  • Partner with clients to build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and support lasting well-being
  • Collaborate daily with psychiatry, case management, and direct care staff to deliver coordinated, whole-person care
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in our EMR system
  • Engage in ongoing learning and bring current research and clinical best practices into your work
What We're Looking For
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (doctoral degree a plus)
  • Current Utah licensure or eligibility for licensure (LCSW, LMFT, CMHC, or associate-level equivalent)
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals with complex mental health presentations
  • Solid foundation in evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Strong clinical instincts, professional boundaries, and genuine empathy
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and communicating across disciplines
  • Experience with electronic health records; comfortable with clinical documentation
What We Offer

We invest in our clinicians because we know that well-supported therapists do their best work.

  • Competitive compensation
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Health savings account (HSA) option
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Employee assistance program (EAP)
  • Tuition reimbursement — we support your continued licensure and professional growth
  • Referral bonus program

Corner Canyon Health Centers is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the clients we serve.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and holistic treatment for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of mental health therapy.
