The Quilter’s Lodge is a premier quilting destination located in Draper, Utah. Blending an elegant boutique style quilting retail store with a luxurious, tranquil retreat center, we offer creative enthusiasts a sanctuary to unwind, create and recharge. From cozy serene accommodations and tailored hospitality to curated fabrics, notions, and expert instruction, every detail of our property is designed to foster peace and creativity.

We are seeking an experienced Retail & Hospitality General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead our team, and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional, inspiring experience

• Elevated Guest Experience - Deliver white-glove hospitality for retreat guests, managing check-ins, and luxurious lodging amenities.
• Serene Atmosphere and Facility Operations - Maintain pristine, high-end aesthetic and cleanliness standards across the guest rooms, common areas, creative spaces, longarm studio and the retail sales floor.
• Retail Leadership - Oversee daily store operations, fabric and notion merchandising, inventory control, and premium customer service
• Production Leadership – Coordinate with the Production Manager for fabric arrival for producing quilt kits, block of the month kits, store samples and longarm quilting.
• Events & Creative Workshops :
  Coordinate logistics for hosting high-end quilting retreats with guest instructors and private retreats for group bookings, and specialized workshops.

• Financial & Administrative Management :
  Direct labor scheduling, monitor department profitability, track retail sales, and manage operational budgets.

• Team Leadership & Culture :
  Recruit, train, and mentor hospitality, housekeeping, and retail staff to reflect a calm, attentive, and professional service standard which may include occasional vacuuming, shoveling snow, sweeping, garbage/recycle and general cleaning.

• Experience : 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality and detail focused retail, or premium retreat centers.
• Hospitality Mindset :
  Dedicated to creating a calm, restorative, and personalized experience for every guest.
• Aesthetic & Industry Appreciation :
  Strong eye for visual detail, luxury presentation, and a genuine appreciation for quilting, textile arts and creative crafts.
• Operational Excellence :
  Proficiency with POS systems, retreat management software, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
• Leadership & Communication :
  Natural leadership presence with refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Schedule Availability :
  Flexibility to oversee key retreat check-in periods, select weekends, and high-demand retreat cycles. Store Hours Mon - Sat
  10am
  -6pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am - 8pm, Closed Sunday. Retreat Center is open 24/7 but does not require staff onsite during evenings and weekends.

  . Lifting up to 30 pounds, moving boxes and fabric, making physical stamina a beneficial asset as fabric is heavy.

• Salary : $ 70,000 per year (commensurate with experience) + performance bonus

Salary : 70,000 per year (commensurate with experience) + performance bonus
