Service Now Sec Ops Engineer – Up to 5 days a week – Draper, UT – Up to 120K

Draper, UT

We are seeking a Service Now Sec Ops Engineer with 4 years of hands‑on experience in designing, developing, and deploying Service Now Security Operations applications. The ideal candidate will enhance security operations by managing incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence workflows, integrating Service Now with enterprise security tools, and implementing automated security orchestration solutions.

• Design, develop, and deploy Service Now Sec Ops applications, including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence.
• Configure Service Now platform features, including workflows, forms, UI policies, ACLs, and scripting (JavaScript, Glide Script, Business Rules, Script Includes, REST APIs).
• Integrate Service Now with SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management, and risk platforms.
• Build and manage automated workflows, playbooks, and security orchestration processes.
• Maintain and optimize Service Now CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and Security Operations workflows.
• Work closely with Agile teams in virtual environments to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
• Apply knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO, GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Service Now Sec Ops applications.
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Hands‑on proficiency with Service Now scripting, platform configuration, and workflow automation.
• Experience integrating Service Now with enterprise security systems and third‑party applications.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks is highly desirable.

90,000 – 120,000 per year
