Our mission is to SAVE AND IMPROVE LIVES BY EMPOWERING HEALTHCARE CONSUMERS.
Come be part of remarkable.
At Health Equity, we are driven by a simple but powerful mission: to save and improve lives by empowering people to make smart healthcare decisions. Behind that mission is a group of thoughtful, collaborative builders who care deeply about how work gets done, not just what gets delivered. We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master II to join our Agile organization and support multiple software development teams across the business.
This is a fully remote, in‑house role with strong leadership support, an established Agile practice, and meaningful initiatives underway. As a Scrum Master II, you will be a trusted partner to engineering, product, and leadership. You will help teams work better together, remove obstacles, and continuously improve how value is delivered. This role is intentionally team‑agnostic, as Scrum Masters at Health Equity are not permanently tied to a single team and may support different initiatives over time.
You will initially support two or more teams, which may include both internal and contract‑based engineering teams. The focus is on strong Scrum fundamentals, communication, and adaptability rather than deep specialization in one domain.
- Serve as Scrum Master for two or more software development teams in an Agile or SAFe environment
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and team‑level PI planning activities
- Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure healthy backlogs, clear priorities, and well‑understood work
- Identify and remove blockers, manage dependencies, and help teams navigate ambiguity
- Track and communicate progress, risks, and metrics that matter, and explain why they matter
- Coach teams toward higher levels of maturity, predictability, and self‑organization
- Promote positive team dynamics, open communication, and psychological safety
- Support continuous improvement efforts and help teams turn insights into action
- Participate in Scrum of Scrums or cross‑team coordination as needed
- Several years of experience working as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple teams simultaneously
- Strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of partners
- Comfort working in evolving environments where priorities may shift
- Experience working with Agile, Scrum, and Lean principles in practice, not just in theory
- Ability to speak clearly about outcomes, lessons learned, and real challenges you have helped teams navigate
- Experience with tools such as Azure Dev Ops or similar is a plus
- Experience with Kanban or Scrumban is a plus
$96,500.00 To $ / year
