SEO Specialist Responsibilities
- Develop and execute tailored, data-driven SEO strategies for on‑page, off‑page, and technical SEO to drive organic growth.
- Perform comprehensive keyword research, competitive analysis, and website audits to identify opportunities and gaps.
- Collaborate closely with copywriters, web developers, and designers to integrate SEO best practices across all web properties.
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics—organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates—and deliver regular reports with insights and recommendations.
- Stay current with the latest SEO developments, search engine algorithm changes, and emerging tools or technologies.
- Manage relationships with external SEO partners, agencies, and consultants to supplement internal efforts.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering continuous learning within the SEO team.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in SEO, driving organic growth and improving search engine rankings.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining SEO concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of current SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and AI tools (Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT), as well as Google Looker.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like Jira.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and either Python or JavaScript is a plus.
