SEO Specialist Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute tailored, data-driven SEO strategies for on‑page, off‑page, and technical SEO to drive organic growth.
  • Perform comprehensive keyword research, competitive analysis, and website audits to identify opportunities and gaps.
  • Collaborate closely with copywriters, web developers, and designers to integrate SEO best practices across all web properties.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics—organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates—and deliver regular reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Stay current with the latest SEO developments, search engine algorithm changes, and emerging tools or technologies.
  • Manage relationships with external SEO partners, agencies, and consultants to supplement internal efforts.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering continuous learning within the SEO team.
What You Bring
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in SEO, driving organic growth and improving search engine rankings.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining SEO concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of current SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and AI tools (Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT), as well as Google Looker.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like Jira.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and either Python or JavaScript is a plus.
