Position Overview:
As a Simulation Technician at Galen College of Nursing, you will support and enhance simulation experiences for all learners in collaboration with program faculty to ensure quality and continuity in the achievement of course student learning outcomes (CSLOs) for all programs.

- Education:
Minimum of a technical diploma or associate degree from an accredited institution required. - Experience:
Affinity for a technical role (IT, A/V, Electronics/Computer building). - Special
Qualifications:
Possess basic understanding of human anatomy and physiology or agree to enroll in course upon hire. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people. Attention to detail and follow through. - Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment:
Position requires critical thinking, reading, planning, preparing, evaluating, and decision making. Physical demands in classroom and lab minimal and considered sedentary work with occasional lifting and/or carrying such articles as manikins, supplies, files, and books (75 pounds maximum). - Degree of Supervision:
Minimal.
