ServiceNow SecOps Engineer: Incident Response & Automation

We are seeking a Service Now Sec Ops Specialist with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying Service Now Security Operations (Sec Ops) applications, including Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong knowledge of security operations and compliance frameworks.

• 4+ years’ hands-on experience with Service Now Sec Ops applications
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Proficiency in Service Now platform configuration (workflows, forms, UI policies, ACLs)
• Expertise in Service Now CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and Sec Ops workflows
• Service Now scripting skills:
  JavaScript, Glide Script, Business Rules, Script Includes, REST APIs
• Experience integrating Service Now with SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability, and risk platforms
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server)
• Experience with Agile teams and virtual work environments
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks: MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO, GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS
• Hands-on experience with automated workflows, playbooks, and security orchestration

• Design, develop, and deploy Service Now Sec Ops applications and workflows
• Implement and optimize Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence processes
• Configure Service Now platform components, scripts, and integrations with security tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver Sec Ops solutions
• Ensure alignment with security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices
• Drive automation and orchestration of security workflows to enhance operational efficiency
