Position:
IT Support Specialist (Draper, Utah)

Responsibilities
  • Empower Users: Respond promptly to help desk tickets, messages, and emails, resolving issues related to PCs, applications, printers, faxes, and network connectivity.
  • Lead & Escalate: Serve as a go‑to expert by acting as an escalation point for complex helpdesk challenges.
  • Document & Educate: Develop clear, user‑friendly documentation for common issues, ensuring both helpdesk staff and end users have the tools they need.
  • Leverage your Expertise: Utilize advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Active Directory to manage user accounts, permissions, and email configurations.
  • Hardware & Software Management: Install and replace hardware and software across multiple locations, apply security patches, and manage company assets with precision.
  • Plan for Success: Collaborate on disaster recovery plans and coordinate equipment relocation and reallocation during company moves.
  • Support Remote Users: Assist team members working in other offices with accessing essential technology and provide solutions for portable and handheld devices.

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with the Innovation & Technology Department on exciting projects, research, and process improvements.
Education and Work Authorization
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident
  • CompTIA A+ Certification is preferred
Experience and Skills
  • 0 – 2+ years of experience in an IT Support Specialist role
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and related software
  • Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and written, technical concepts in a clear and understandable way
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to partner and collaborate with peers and internal stakeholders
