Hiring for Manufacturing Engineer – Metals Operations Draper, Utah
This Manufacturing Engineering role is responsible for planning and executing the relocation of commercial and New Product Development (NPD) metals manufacturing lines into a new facility. The role will serve as the technical project lead for the line-move workstream, ensuring minimal disruption to production while supporting future growth of the metals operation.

The role will serve as the technical project lead for the line-move workstream, ensuring minimal disruption to production while supporting future growth of the metals operation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the line movement workstream for the metals facility relocation as the technical project owner
- Develop and execute comprehensive process validation plans, including IQ/OQ/PQ, for manufacturing equipment and facility utilities
- Create and implement detailed shutdown and startup procedures to ensure uninterrupted supply of critical components
- Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors for equipment movement, calibration, installation, and related activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Project Management, Facilities, Operations, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to meet project and production requirements
- Support planning of work assignments based on workforce capability, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated risks or delays
- Prepare and present charts, graphs, layouts, and diagrams illustrating workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization
- Strong experience in equipment and process validation
- Proven project management and technical leadership capabilities
- Experience working with highly complex and automated manufacturing equipment
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communicator and collaborative team player
- 5–7 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in metals or complex manufacturing environments
