Night Quality Inspector

Overview

Conduct quality control tasks including inspecting, sampling, and generating quality control documentation.

• Conduct quality control tasks such as inspecting and sampling raw materials, components, bulk materials, and finished products.
• Create quality control documentation.
• Assist in the following:
• Cleaning and maintenance of inspection equipment and suites.
• Monitoring and inspecting of manufacturing and warehouse functions for GMP compliance.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Expediting items with coordination between inspectors and all other departments.
• Understand and adhere to GMP policies and procedures.
• Involves a variety of physical activities including but not limited to pushing, lifting, pulling, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
• Visual acuity required is the minimum standard with work that deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, computer terminals, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, handling small parts, using measurement devices, and recognizing small variances in colors of a variety of different items.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

• Team player.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience in quality control and/or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication (English).
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential duties and responsibilities without supervision
