Research Assistant/Associate, Research Scientist, Lab Tech / Assistant, Medical Technologist & Lab Technician
Wasatch Product Development, located in Draper, is looking for a quick learning, detail-oriented individual to support our Research & Development Laboratory in the preparation of new products.
This individual will learn the art and science of cosmetic chemistry by preparing lab batches following formula instructions, preparing samples for a customer presentation, entering samples into stability testing, maintaining the accompanying paperwork, and other general laboratory tasks.
This is a full-time position with a great working environment and full benefits package.
The individual will work as part of the R&D team but will also be responsible for their own individual assignments.
Working with the R&D lab team to prepare assigned lab batches, complete associated paperwork, research raw materials, organize lab raw materials, and maintain a clean lab environment.
QualificationsPerform daily responsibilities of testing the physical characteristics of cosmetic and personal care stability samples, storing and organizing samples, and completing the associated reports.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Good with numbers, high attention to detail, inquisitive, organized, and reliable. Must be comfortable working in a laboratory environment, able to stand for long periods, and perform occasional light-duty lifting.
In addition, perform general lab duties to keep the R&D lab clean, always organized, and prepared for customer tours. Ability to work on individual assignments as a team player.
