Responsibilities- Essential Function:
Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication and consistent accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all areas and are responsible for primary duties when the Store Manager is not present. - Brand:
Provide supervision and support the direction planning of associates daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional client experience which maximizes sales/KPIs and drives customer loyalty in assigned stores. Ensure all brand standards are met such as merchandising, POGs, marketing, back rooms, dress code, etc. Act as main point of contact to resolve customer issues and concerns. Analyze store trends and anticipate customer demands. - People:
Engage, train and develop teams to achieve positive results. Leverage internal hiring platforms and actively recruit to build a strong network of external candidates as needed. Identify strengths and opportunities for each associate and address through coaching or counseling. Maintain positive associate relations and timely communication with AM/DM. Foster diversity, inclusion and belonging. - Operations:
Ensure execution of all company processes through training, management, analysis and continuous improvement. Utilize digital strategies such as Omni-channel fulfillment (SFS/SDD/BOPIS). Manage inventory through ordering and shipment processing. Manage payroll hours and scheduling. Ensure opening and closing procedures are performed correctly. Follow Company directives and projects with timely and accurate completion. - Safety/Loss Prevention:
Ensure a safe store environment for associates and customers and enforce all policies. Protect company assets by following inventory and cash control procedures related to shrink, damages, and banking. Analyze reporting, tools and technology. Ensure compliance with all HAZMAT training and execution.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
- At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
- Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives
- Effective communication with team and management
- Scheduling availability to meet business needs
- Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
