Store Sales Associate

Position Overview

Part Time Sales Associate – Immediately – Draper, UT, 107 E 12300 S, US 84020. Wage: $14.55 per hour.

• Provide world‑class sales and customer service, selling Deseret Book products and services.
• Assist customers through cash register operation, product location, order taking, imprinting, and gift‑wrapping.
• Maintain store appearance and organization by stocking shelves, unpacking merchandise shipments, and aiding with product presentation.
• Work various shifts including days, evenings, and Saturdays.

• Interact with customers in person and over the phone as an essential function.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Preferred strong product knowledge.
• Computer skills helpful.
• Team‑oriented and self‑motivated.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays (except Thanksgiving and Christmas).
• Good hearing, understanding, and response skills to serve customers and associates.
• Identify and locate products for customers efficiently.
• Regularly lift 20 lbs and occasionally lift 35–50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods of time.
