Area Sales Manager

Company OverviewAcima Leasing is a young and dynamic leasing company that provides consumer payment options for life necessities that otherwise would not be available to them. We offer lease‑to‑own solutions for items from tires and wheels to furniture and appliances.
Position DescriptionThis role focuses on selling Acima services to retailers, enrolling merchants as partners, training their teams on our online portal, and supporting the overall growth of the assigned territory.
Position Functions- Call on and present to new prospects while visiting an average of 11+ stores per week.
- Follow up on merchants enrolled to offer support on specific lease applications or questions.
- Manage CRM of assigned merchants using Salesforce to help meet growth goals.
- Support underwriting and inside sales departments when issues arise with specific leases throughout the sales cycle.
- Train merchants on the program and online portal, including onboarding and training the merchants’ management and sales team.
- Answer general questions about Acima’s processes.
- Manage merchant pipelines and provide ongoing training and support.
- Generate new leases from personally enrolled merchants.
- Manage the distribution and implementation of marketing and point‑of‑sale program materials.
- Must currently be located in the metro area of the position.
- 2 or more years of experience in B2B sales, enterprise account management, business development, or outside sales.
- Fluent in English. Bilingual Spanish is preferred and encouraged.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; effective listening skills; ability to present and teach small groups.
- Proven time management skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette and demonstrated customer service skills.
- Proactive problem‑solving approach with ability to influence positive outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail; self‑directed; ability to multitask.
Base salary of $65,000 – $70,000 plus commission, mileage reimbursement, and a complete benefits package.
- Potential eligibility for bonus and/or incentive programs, subject to employment status and plan requirements.
